Hello! I am Varun Shrivastava, pursuing my Bachelor's of Engineering in Computer Science from Hitkarini College of Engineering and Technology, Jabalpur. I have completed my schooling from St. Gabriel's Senior Secondary School, Jabalpur. I am a National Level Cricketer, a budding Web Developer and also a Tech-enthusiast. In my free time I just like to sit in front of my computer and explore the virtual world. My objectives in life is to learn, explore and work with Microsoft :)
This blog is to express my thoughts on Microsoft and how Microsoft has impacted my life and also the changes that I would like to bring in the society by being a Microsoft Student Associate(MSA).
The time I got my first computer was the day when I and Microsoft became friends. I still remember the first operating system that I used was Microsoft's Windows 98 and I was just amazed by the graphics and friendliness of the computer as it was my first computer. Microsoft tools like paint and office really helped in enhancing my artistic capabilities.
As I grew little older, I became more curious and searched for the answers and Microsoft provided me with the tools and products which helped me to explore and learn. I became more and more dependent on Microsoft's tools since then. When teacher asked me to bring a report, MS-Word helped me to make one. When I needed to build the presentation, MS-Power Point came in really handy, and now when I like to build some applications Visual Studio provides me with all the necessary tools for development. Visual Studio has really changed the way I looked at the code. It is so user friendly, and it provides me all the useful tools with ease.
Being a MSA, it will be my responsibility to take my society towards technology and to make them aware of the current trend in tech. I will take an effort to make the technology more friendly for the people by providing them an easier way to use it. Especially, the older people who are not capable of using the technology to the fullest, not because of the complexity of it but because of the lack of information about how to use it, I would do so by conducting various events and seminars.
By being a MSA, I will gain recognition and it will enhance my capability to bring changes to the society. I encourage all the students to participate in this program. Not just in this program but the various programs that Microsoft conduct for the well fare of the students.
I love Microsoft and want to be a part of it.

Microsoft has given such a wonderful platform for the students to learn and develop. It provides all the tools and learning materials required to realize any project. I have also learned various courses from Microsoft Virtual Academy. Microsoft has really helped me and its still helping me to realize my dream.
